Quality Seed

A quality crop must start with the best quality seed. The Australian Mungbean Company are AMA (Australian Mungbean Association) seed suppliers. Seed produced under this scheme is independently tested in the field to ensure minimal risk from major seed-borne diseases. Every three years the seed is sourced back from the original breeders stock to ensure varietal purity is maintained.

Agronomic Support

No other shed can give you the quality of agronomic support that is available from the Australian Mungbean Company. Our postgraduate qualifications, years of research experience, and over a decade farming ourselves means that we have the credentials to help you with every mungbean production problem.

Convenient Delivery

With AB-triple and road-train access, an on-site weighbridge, extended delivery hours and Grain Harvest Management Scheme accreditation, harvest delivery is easy at the Australian Mungbean Company.

Real-time Feedback

We understand that waiting months for feedback on your delivery isn’t acceptable. We provide written feedback on tonnage delivered, estimated grade-out percentages and quality within 48 hours of delivery completion. Where there is an identified problem we will ring and let you know straight away. For example, where there is a high percentage of split beans in the sample, advice from us can give you the opportunity to adjust your harvester settings and save serious dollars.

Segregated Storage

We have over 4000t of sealed storage in silos from 30 to 160t capacity. Every grower’s beans are kept separate so each grower is paid on the merit of their own crop – not the poorest quality delivery in the silo.

Excellent Payment Terms

The Australian Mungbean Company pioneered 14 day End Of Week of Delivery payment terms in 2014 and continues to stand by these terms.

Even if your beans are not graded by the payment due date, we will make a pre-payment covering the bulk of money that will be due.

As a past Vice President of the AMA (Australian Mungbean Association) and chair of its Research Committee, Damien is ahead of industry developments and helps steer future mungbean research.

Modern Dedicated Grading Plant

Our plant consists of modern cleaning equipment from Denmark and the USA and is dedicated to grading mungbean. The machine configurations have been designed to do an exacting job – we don’t pursue capacity to the detriment of precision.

Australian Family Owned Business

Ours is the largest single-family owned business in the mungbean industry and is 100% Australian and local to Central Queensland.

We have been in operation for over a decade with a team of very experienced staff. Our grading plant operators have an average of 13 years under their belts.
